Referencing:

Referencing can be defined as a process of validating the information that has been used for Assignment writing an article or report. Harvard Referencing:

Harvard referencing is done by including an author-date format for citation. This style usually involves two elements: in-text citations and a list of references. It is necessary that the entire authors’ name appear in in-text citations and its need to be present in reference list as well.

In-Text Citations in Harvard Format:

In-text citation is usually placed at the end of the sentence. The main purpose of an in-text citation is to give brief information about the source, which enables readers to find complete information.

When ideas or information is fetched from any source, the author name and date of publication in brackets need to be included in the text.

Reference List:

Reference list is presented at the end of the article which includes all authors that appeared in-text. This list usually includes information about the name of the author, date of publication, the title of the source, etc.
